私の当番日には午前11時と午後2時に30分ほど展示作品の解説をいたします。

It is‘Children’s Day’in Japan on May 5. In hope of the health of children and healthy growth, the family gives a carp streamer.

5月5日は、子どもたちの健やかな成長と幸せを願う『端午の節句』。現在は『こどもの日』として親しまれています。もともとは季節の変わり目に厄払いをする行事として始まり、子どもの無病息災を祈る日です。この日には、邪気を払い身を守る「菖蒲湯」に浸かって心身を清め、「柏餅」を食べて家族でお祝いします。
